This has to be one of my favorite movies. If you have never seen it, please rent it and watch it. It is probably in the $1 section of the rentals by now. Not only does it touch on mental retardation, but also on obesity. This is one of my favorite parts of the movie.

I have never seen this movie, but I can relate to the last part of that scene. Discrimination against people of size seems to still acceptable. I know for a fact it costs me jobs and friendships. I would not get interviews for internal postings for jobs I was imminently qualified for and no one would say why.However, I remember one Christmas I was just out shopping and some real douchebag thought it was ok to walk up to me and say "You sure are a fat f@*K aren't you" A complete stranger,like there was nothing wrong with doing that.
